Lonicera tatarica is native to Siberia and other parts of eastern Asia.  Naturalised in north America where it was introduced in 1752. 

A bushy shrub that may grow up to 3 m tall. It is lined with oval or rounded leaves 3 to 6 cm long. The inflorescence is usually a pair of white to pink or crimson-red flowers, each about 1.5 cm long. The flowers are somewhat tubular, their stamens and styles protruding. The fruit is a bright orange or red berry up to 1 cm wide. The plant forms thickens and spreads easily when birds and other animals consume the fruits.
