Purchased from Hilliers Nursery, Romsey, Hampshire.

The term ‘Fastigate Sessile Oak’ typically refers to a columnar or upright variety of oak. While Quercus petraea naturally has a more upright form than Quercus robur (English Oak) the more common ‘fastigate oak’ cultivar is Quercus robur ‘Fastigata’.
